The Paradox Support was however able to find a problem in the log. I have attached a screenshot I took when the problem initially started. After a rather lengthy correspondence with the Paradox Support with none of the suggested fixes working I was referred to this forum. I have also tried to do 2 clean re-installs of Steam in its entirety. I have tried doing 2 clean re-installs as it was suggested by Paradox Support. The UI is now vanished across all saves (new as well as old). After playing (and enjoying the game) for about 2.5 hours the UI (or HUD, or whatever it is called) vanished.
